Emily Brehe says she is often unimpressed with the marketing language of today because it lacks creativity. As a content specialist, she works to provide creative, unique and effective products that stand out against competitors. She enjoys working in a creative environment and watching projects come to life. One of Emily’s favorite aspects of digital marketing is the “aha” moment when an idea is born, which usually happens in a brainstorming session with the team. She also loves delivering a final product and seeing the client’s reaction to it.

Emily studied English with an emphasis in creative fiction at the University of Missouri. Before joining our team, she was a digital account manager at the Business Times Company and a social media and content writer for the University of Missouri College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources. She hopes to be a leader in marketing one day and wants to understand how to do everything on both the content creation and business side of things. After forming a strong foundation, she wants to be able to transfer her knowledge to newcomers and lead them into the future with a style that would make Marty McFly jealous!

Emily has a guilty pleasure for binge-watching cartoons and playing video games, and like much of the team, she has a dog whom she loves to spoil rotten. In her free time she enjoys going to concerts, hiking mid-MO trails, tackling DIY projects, and exploring local flea markets and thrift stores.

Emily is outgoing, ambitious, and unafraid to put herself out there. She looks up to the most hardworking woman she’s ever known: her grandma.
