As a content specialist, Jillian spends most of her days writing, tweaking and editing, often with a cup of coffee in her hand. When she’s not refilling her mug, you can find her waist-deep in a website, blog or some other form of writing.
A graduate of Wheaton College, Jillian’s passion for marketing stems from a love of getting to know people who have had vastly different experiences than her own. A world traveler who’s visited 28 (!) different countries, she was a humanitarian with the organization Samaritan’s Purse, working in places as unique as Northern Iraq and South Sudan. When asked in her interview whether she’d be able to withstand the stress that comes with the job, Jillian responded with something like ‘uh, yeah.’
The variety, and combination of creative and technical elements, are what drives Jillian on a daily basis. She enjoys the fact that she can be focusing on one industry one hour, and then transition to something completely different the next. It keeps things fresh.
Outside of work, Jillian’s favorite hobby is photography, specifically portraiture. She also likes baking, hanging out at coffee shops, visiting the farmer’s market, or pretty much anything else that allows her to explore new places.
